Start the enquiry. Refine the scope.
You can begin with your contact details, location and a description of the help you want. Add measurements, photos or a product preference when available. The conversation should refine the work before you approve a quote.
HAUSE visual concept / Illustrative finishes, not a project or product certification.Send what you know
Describe the property type, community and whether you need repair, replacement, installation or help choosing. A rough timeline is useful. Leave unknown measurements open. Exact quantities and access arrangements can be confirmed during the project review.
Show the project boundaries
Identify which elevations and components belong in the request. Include a detached garage or a small accent area explicitly. Say whether soffit, fascia, gutters, trim and window work are part of the conversation. A simple list prevents assumptions on both sides.
Bring the visual direction
Save a profile, colour direction or reference product. Explain what you like about it: the line spacing, shadow, texture or palette. Keep inspiration separate from a final order. The product and sample can be narrowed down with the provider.
Ask how the wall will be assessed
Tell the provider about visible damage, leaks, previous repairs and the age of the exterior where known. Ask what can be established before removal and what remains concealed. If older materials may require testing, have that process addressed before disturbance.
Read the written proposal
Look for the exact product, preparation, water management, accessories, work limits and cleanup. Request a clear change process and payment terms. Resolve differences between the conversation, drawing and quote before accepting the work.
Agree the handover
Ask for the final product records, care guidance, warranty documents and relevant photographs. Record a contact for questions after completion. A useful handover helps you distinguish routine upkeep from a condition that should be reviewed by the installer.
A project conversation
An owner knows only that the north wall has damaged panels and that a whole-house colour change is being considered. Start with a repair enquiry and request replacement as a separate option. The first conversation can establish which path is worth measuring.
Bring these questions
- What is included on each elevation?
- Who approves extra work?
- What will be supplied at handover?
