HAUSE®VINYL SIDING
The elevation planner

Give your project
some dimensions.

Build a first study of your walls, gables and openings. Compare area planning with a conservative horizontal course model, then take the brief to your installer.

01 / Planning assumptions

Editable examples, not specifications. Use the selected product’s coverage and dimensions. Course mode is for horizontal panels only. A new blank is used at every position; offcuts are not reused. Laps and accessories need a separate take-off.

02 / Your elevations

Opening positions are measured from the bottom left of the rectangular wall. Add openings only inside that area. Split complex or offset gables into separate studies.

What the study accounts for

Wall rectangles and triangular gables, non-overlapping rectangular openings, full carton rounding and an explicit planning allowance. Course mode uses full blanks for partial opening rows and bounding gable rows. Its cut count identifies shaped or short positions, rather than individual saw operations.

The actual layout must address seams and staggering, product laps, fastening, movement, trim, corners, flashing and access. This planner does not produce an installation drawing or order.
